I just saw the California's Gold Show on PBS in San Diego, Ca. Boy did it bring back memories of younger days and earlier times. I worked as a stage technician for IATSE Local 33 back in the 1970's. Worked some of the old houses, like the one in San Bernardino. Then I renovated some of the the Albuquerque Little Theater built around 1933 by the Gov't Civilian Conservation Corps. What a hoot!
I'm not a tickey (card -carrying member) any more. Does IATSE man the house?
If I lived close by I'd jump at the chance to volunteer, just to be in aura of your beloved stage. May you always revere her (inspite of requiste modern music).
